A woman has died after falling from a ninth-floor balcony in Sydney’s west in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to a unit block on River Rd, Parramatta in Sydney’s west at about 1.40am on Thursday after reports of a “concern for welfare”.
NSW Police arrived at the scene and located a woman with injuries after falling from a ninth-floor balcony.
“Despite the efforts of first responders, the woman was unable to be revived,” a statement from police read.
A crime scene has been established and police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
