A Wishaw life coach is aiming to tackle the growing mental health crisis by hosting a major event in Glasgow later this year.
Nicola Creen is a qualified life coach and mental health expert and has been inspired to organise Phoenix Rising which will feature life coaches from across the globe.
Her idea came after spending time with American “ultimate coach” Steve Hardison.

Nicola said: “I won an online competition earlier this year to travel to Phoenix, Arizona to spend time with Steve.
“When I went over there I was actually unwell and ended up with pneumonia.
“However, despite that spending time with Steve and his family gave me a whole new perspective on life.
“It was an experience I will never forget and Steve showed me what could be done if I put my mind to it.
“When I came back I decided I wanted to do something bigger to try and help kids who are suffering at the moment.”
