Let emailing yourself be a thing of the past. Just drag and drop.
You can now transfer files or images between your Android device and PC by dragging them from one device to the other. Start by opening phone screen in the Phone Link , then just drag your desired files between your devices. There are a few exceptions, so learn more about file drag and drop here.
File drag-and-drop is available for select Samsung and OPPO devices with Phone screen eligibility. Learn more about setting up and using phone screen here.
Copy here, paste there
You don’t have to email that vacation picture to yourself to transfer it between devices. Just copy from your Android device and paste on your PC (or vice versa). Use your normal shortcut keys: just select some text or a picture, copy it, switch devices, and paste.
To turn on this feature, open the Phone Link and go to Settings > Cross-device copy and paste. Make sure the toggle is On for Allow this app to access and transfer content I copy and paste between my phone and PC.
This feature works on the Surface Duo and select Samsung and OPPO devices. If you don’t have a Samsung device that supports this, you can still share images from your phone to your PC by using the Photos tab in the Phone Link. Learn more
