BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 6. The member
states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) have approved a
new flag of the organization, Trend reports.
According to the information, the decision was made following
the 11th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the
Organization of Turkic States in Bishkek.
“This flag embodies the main symbols of Turkic identity, unity,
common heritage, and comprehensive cooperation, which are central
to the mission of the OTS,” the statement on the adoption of the
symbol reads.
The flag was approved by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev,
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of
Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
