“Time to eat my beans!” With the release of the Fallout streaming series on Prime Video next week, they’ve launched a series of featurettes + an online contest to get people excited. Both videos are included below. Fallout is a live-action streaming series based on the immensely popular, beloved video game series of the same name from Bethesda Softworks. It was developed by and is being written / showrun by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, the two minds behind HBO’s “Westworld” series as well. Set in a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits after nuclear annihilation. The streaming series follows Lucy trying to survive in the aftermath of a nuclear war in an alternate history of a 1950s-esque retrofuturistic world, split between two factions. Ella Purnell stars with Walton Goggins as The Ghoul, Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Aaron Moten, Mike Doyle, Moisés Arias, Johnny Pemberton, with Dale Dickey as Ma June. Prime is also launching a “Prepare for Fallout” contest where you can win tons of prizes. And the behind-the-scenes look below includes a look at the suits that Legacy Effects (behind the Iron Man suit) built for this. Fire them up.
Here’s two new behind-the-scenes featurettes for Prime Video’s sci-fi series Fallout, direct from YouTube:
You can rewatch the teaser trailer for Prime’s Fallout series right here, and the main official trailer here.
Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. Fallout is a series created & written by TV creators / writers Geneva Robertson-Dworet & Graham Wagner. The first three episodes are directed by the sci-fi filmmakers Lisa Joy (Reminiscence, “Pushing Daisies”, “Burn Notice”, “Westworld”) and Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, “Person of Interest”, “Westworld”). Based on the video game series created by Bethesda Softworks; the very first Fallout game launched back in 1997 on Windows. It’s executive produced by James Altman, Todd Howard, Lisa Joy, Jonathan Nolan, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Athena Wickham. Amazon’s Prime Video will debut the Fallout series streaming on Prime Video starting April 11th, 2024 coming soon. Still looks good? Who’s ready to watch?
