BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. The UNfrom the
Ansar Allah rebel movement have returned the office of the Office
of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Sanaa to the
UN, the official representative of the head of the world
organization Stephane Dujarric said at a briefing, Trend reports.
“The office was handed back to our Yemen coordinator Julien
Harneis today. According to Julien, the office is untouched and is
being inventoried,” Dujarric said.
The Secretary-General’s representative added that the UN is
“encouraged by this step,” but at the same time the world
organization continues to call on the Houthis to release detained
UN employees in Yemen.
