Norwegian seismic service provider Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has won a contract from an undisclosed client for a survey in India.
The Oslo-listed company said in a filing it would utilise the 2001-built Atlantic Guardian for the project.
The so-called controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM) survey should have a contract value of around $10m, subject to the issuance of a callout order.
The vessel will start acquisition following the completion of the previously announced survey in India and the final contract execution should take place within the next several weeks, EMGS said.
