KOLKATA: Sana Ganguly, daughter of former Indian skipper and BCCI ex-chief Sourav Ganguly, had a close shave on Friday evening when the car she was travelling in was hit by a long-distance private bus. The incident was reported around 6.30 pm from Behala Chowrasta crossing on the Thakurpukur-bound flank, a couple of hundred metres from the Ganguly’s residence. Police said the bus on Raichak- Kolkata route hit the looking glass of the car but did not inflict any further damage. The occupants, including Sana, escaped unhurt. Locals and cops chased the bus and intercepted it at the Sakherbazar Crossing, located a kilometre away. The driver was deboarded and detained. Chowrasta has seen massive police arrangement for the past one and the half years following the death of a Class II student.
