More than halfway through the experiment, the remaining couples were provided the rare opportunity to test the mettle and bond of other pairs with them.
Andrea and Richard saw sparks after finally reigniting their dwindling passion, taking a trip down memory lane to recite their wedding vows following a nudge from Lucida and Tim.
Jayden sunk his teeth into Tori, metaphorically, of course, calling BS on her and Jack’s relationship and unhealthy behaviours.
“Do you think you like Jack more than he likes you?” Jayden asked.
“Our feelings are definitely very equal,” a coy Tori answered. “I do have a lot of respect for Jack, and Jack has a lot of respect for me.”
She believed the couple were a “good match” and on the path to “longevity” — though Jayden wasn’t buying it.
Jaded by other couples questioning her continued defence of her husband’s inappropriate comments, Tori couldn’t care less about Jayden’s accusations.
Latecomer to the experiment, Jade, was tasked with asking bad boy Jack the hard questions.
But her questioning was much softer in nature, arguably flirting with her top-knotted drinks companion.
Shifting focus to Tori and Jack’s progress, Jade asked if the couple had slept together yet.
“At this point, what is stopping you guys?” she asked.
“I can assure you we are not a situationship, we’re in a healthy relationship,” Jack responded.
Jade told producers: “I’m definitely not buying any of it.”
When they came together for a heart-to-heart with Ridge and Jade, Timothy and Lucinda were caught off guard by some comments Ridge relayed from Jack.
“Jack thinks you’re both done, checked out.”
Timothy was having none of it, calling the villain “phony” and “so full of s*it”.
He and Lucinda then dropped a salty letter under the door of Tori and Jack in an A-4 sized “FU” to the couple.
