Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has returned to China Merchants Jinling Shipyard with a deal for two dual-fuel car carrier newbuilds.
The Singapore-based company with more than 70 newbuilding projects on its books has once again signed up for LNG-powered 199.9 m long ships, able to transport over 7,000 units each and are estimated to cut CO2 emissions by 30%.
No price was revealed for the latest EPS contract which should lift the Idan Ofer company’s firm orders for car carriers at the yard to 12.
The shipyard in Nanjing has already delivered three PCTCs to EPS.
