Brentford held out for 90 minutes against Liverpool at the Community Stadium, but having come on from the bench, Darwin Nunez struck twice in quick succession for the Premier League leaders to settle the game in their favour.
The Bees previously played against Arsenal and Manchester City, but manager Thomas Frank believes the Merseysiders are rightly at the top of the league, better than either of those rivals.
“We’ve just played against City and Arsenal and now Liverpool, I think they are a level above the two others.”
“They are more complete in all phases of the game, exceptionally good.”
