A 50-year-old Windsor man faces numerous charges, including attempted murder, after a woman was struck with a vehicle.
LaSalle police began investigating the incident Monday when a 48-year-old woman reported to police that a male acquaintance deliberately drove his pickup truck toward her at a park in the 4600 block of Malden Road.
Police said the woman attempted to jump out of the way of the speeding truck but she was hit by the vehicle’s side mirror.

The woman sustained what police called non-life-threatening physical injuries.
LaSalle police contacted the Windsor Police Service major crimes unit as the alleged offences occurred in Windsor.
Windsor police arrested the suspect Wednesday at a residence in the 1400 block of St. Patrick’s Avenue.
Kristopher Brisebois has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, criminal harassment, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, uttering death threats and mischief over $5,000.
Police said they continue to investigate and are urging anyone with surveillance or dash cam footage from the 4600 block of Malden Road around the time of the incident to come forward.
