From wildflower meadows to waterfalls, this walk has it all

Although I doubt it will curb the insatiable desire of visitors to traipse up Australia’s highest mountain, within a couple of years I suspect this new track will be popular enough to allow Charlotte Pass, Guthega, and Perisher to finally shed their long-held non-winter ghost town status. Perhaps if enough of the ski lodges in these alpine villages throw their doors open out-of-season, the Yowie clan might just discover a new summer holiday haunt. I can only hope.
