Aaj Ka Panchang, September 21, 2024: Chaturthi Shraddha and Vighnaraja Sankashti Chaturthi will be celebrated today on Friday.
The Chaturthi tithi and Panchami tithi of Krishna Paksha will occur on Saturday, September 21, according to Drik Panchang. Krishna Chaturthi is regarded as an inauspicious time to begin activities and falls under the ashubh muhurat timings. In contrast, Krishna Panchami is considered a favourable time as it falls within shubh muhurat timings. Two festivals will be celebrated on this day: Chaturthi Shraddha and Vighnaraja Sankashti Chaturthi.

The sun is expected to rise at 6:09 AM and set at 6:19 PM. The moon is predicted to rise at 8:29 PM and it is slated to set at 9:34 AM.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR SEPTEMBER 21
The Chaturthi Tithi is expected to continue until 6:13 PM, after which it will transition to Panchami Tithi. The inauspicious Bharani Nakshatra will remain until 12:36 AM on September 22, when it will change to another inauspicious Krittika Nakshatra. The moon is scheduled to be in Mesha Rashi until 6:09 AM on September 22, after which it will shift to Vrishabha Rashi. Meanwhile, the sun is anticipated to be in Kanya Rashi.
