An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning. According to National Centre for Seismology, the quake took place at 6:59 am on Tuesday with epicentre 10 kilometres in Baramulla. Visuals shared by users on social media show structures and objects shaking as the tremor hit the region.
