Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid might be having the best postseason in NHL history, but that still might not be enough for him to get his name on the Stanley Cup. Despite the absurd production from their captain, the Oilers found themselves trailing 3-0 to the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final. Thirteen combined goals in Games 4 and 5 (including eight points from McDavid) helped them come back from the brink, but they are still down 3-2 with Game 6 taking place in Edmonton on Friday night.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. McDavid has 42 total points in the playoffs so far, and is within five points of Wayne Gretzky for the most ever in a single postseason. So, with that in mind, how many of the players with the most points in one NHL postseason can you name?
Good luck!
