Over at ever-busy Chelsea, a bid worth £34million has been rejected by Atletico Madrid for Samu Omorodion. Atleti insist he is not for sale at any price but the Blues have made the young Spaniard their priority striker signing, ahead of Jhon Duran and the return of Dominic Solanke. Another bid is expected, while Chelsea have now agreed to sell Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa. Tottenham are also in the market for their own new striker, and Ivan Toney is of interest but no bid has yet been submitted.
